Tap Legacy™ Services leverage the learning our organization has garnered over more than 20 years of supporting the oral tradition of tap dance, for the benefit of others caring for oral traditions all over the world. Our workshop is for anyone eager to discover a framework for how to think about oral traditions. Our OTSM is a service for keepers of traditions challenged by a changing cultural landscape.
Oral Tradition Workshop
Oral traditions are an anomaly in the contemporary cultural landscape. Yet many practices still rely heavily on the framework of an oral tradition – including tap dance. This workshop opens our eyes to how oral traditions are designed to work, their purpose, and how they interact with contemporary culture.
OTSS
Tap Legacy™ Oral Tradition Support Services (OTSS) provides consulting and frameworks for the support of oral traditions navigating a cultural shift. Whether it is the passing of a generation of keepers or the disinterest of the next generation, the OTSM provides a way of thinking through the best ways to support any oral tradition.
