Jazz (Dance) Party at Webster Hall!!!!
Have you ever wondered what the party scene was like when tap dancing was in its heyday. Come and find out as we bring live olde tyme jass back to Webster Hall for the first time in recent history. Lindy Hoppers will crowd the floor as the Jake Sanders Sextet play for the entire night. Set breaks will be filled by DJ EVE and surprise guests. You don’t want to miss this night of live music, dancing, and great fun.

Bonus: The Jazz Party will be one of the main events during the spring Quarterly Arts Soiree at Webster Hall. The entire building will be filled with art/dance/film/and more all day. One ticket gets you into the whole party.

The Tap Legacy Foundation, Inc., along with the Quarterly Arts Soiree @ WEBSTER HALL and Dancetime Publications, is proud to host the release of Tap Dance History: from Vaudeville to Film.
ABOUT THE DVD
Tap Dance History: from Vaudeville to Film is a series of rare historically relevant film clips that showcase a wide variety of tap dance stars from the 1930s and 1940s. In addition to the film clips the DVD includes narration – written by researchers at the Tap Legacy Foundation and performed by Andrew J. Nemr – and rare pictures from many sources including the Tap Legacy Digital Archives.
THE RELEASE PARTY
Join us Monday, January 24th, at 8pm for some live tap dancing, a discussion with Tap Legacy co-founder Andrew J. Nemr, refreshments, and a premiere Tap Legacy Exhibit. Copies of Tap Dance History: From Vaudeville to Film will be available for purchase at the release party. All at the newly opened ART BAR at Webster Hall.
