DATE: June 6, 2014
Caplan Recital Hall, University of the Arts

As a part of Dorothy Wasserman’s residency in Philadelphia, which has been generously funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, any and all members of the area tap community will have the chance to learn Dorothy’s piece, #holdontoyourhats, a fast-moving dance which seamlessly incorporates classic tap steps like the Shim Sham and the Bill Robinson into contemporary choreography. There is partnering, moves from popular culture as well as a little square dancing.
Master class participants have the option of performing the class piece at the final project showing on June 6, 2014 at Caplan Recital Hall, University of the Arts, 211 South Broad Street, Philadelphia. Participation fee of $25 reserves each participant two complimentary tickets to the final showing.
NOTE: In order to participate in the performance (June 6th) you must participate in the workshop (April 27th).
