The story of Patricia O’Grady as the daughter of Irish Vaudeville performer, Rosie O’Grady, who, along with her sisters are being raised by her father who despises Vaudeville believing that the Vaudeville life contributed to his wife’s Rosie early death. Trying his best not to allow his daughters to beĀ involved in any way with performing arts, so when she falls in love with a performer, successful Tony Pastor played by Gordon MacRae, trouble starts with dad, unraveling the plot they finally reunite and reconcile by the end of the movie.
