Steve and James Jimmy Clark – The Clark Brothers grew up in Philadelphia,Their first engagement was at the Cotton Club, Harlem.
By the time they were in their mid teens, they were encouraged by Frank Sinatra to move to London, England.
Their first British performance was for King George VI.
They became favorites in social clubs. They wrote hits for Max Bygraves, and appeared at the Palladium, London.
The Clark Brothers opened a University of Showbusiness in London, where Cliff Richard and Bonnie Langford were among their pupils.
James Clark Jimmy died on October 30, 2009 age 87. Steve still lives in London.
